SheBeast

“Raver Spy vs. The Ozone Monster” -  One of a series of four self-promotional videos for SheBeast, the online video host and creator of “The Near Death Experience”, a Death Metal featured program. This was a pioneering venture with the now-defunct Pseudo.com, whose concept of live webstreaming of video/audio in 1998 was too far ahead of its time. SheBeast’s fictitious character is described as being “A former B-Movie star”, and these videos represent “Scenes from her greatest films”, which, of course, do not actually exist! But they certainly seem like they would. Written, Produced and Directed by Julie Covello.
